Our Story
Fall Line Bengals began the way most great things do — with a single cat that changed everything. When Amanda brought home her first Bengal, she was not prepared for how completely the breed would redefine what she thought a cat could be.
What started as admiration became study, and study became purpose. Amanda spent years learning the Bengal standard, building relationships with established breeders, and understanding what it truly means to breed with integrity. Michael joined the journey early — and together they built a program rooted in their home, their land, and their deep respect for the breed.
We are based in Perry, Georgia — in the heart of the Fall Line, the ancient geological boundary that gives our cattery its name. A place of transition, of two worlds meeting. That feels right for a breed that carries the wild and the domestic in equal measure.
How We Breed
We are a small cattery by design. Every decision — every pairing, every placement — is made with intention and care, not volume.
Every breeding cat is tested for HCM, PK-Def, and other heritable conditions before any litter is planned. We will never compromise the health of our kittens for coat or pattern.
Our kittens are born in our home and raised in the middle of daily life — not in a separate room, not in a cage. They know the sounds of a household, the feel of being held, and the warmth of a family.
We breed to the TICA Bengal standard. Every pairing is chosen to advance the breed — improving structure, coat quality, and temperament while maintaining genetic diversity.
Our relationship with every family does not end at placement. We are a call, text, or message away for the life of your cat — for questions, guidance, or just to share a photo.
What We Promise
When you bring home a Fall Line Bengal, you are not just getting a kitten. You are getting a documented, health-tested, socialized companion — and a breeder who stands behind every cat we produce.
These are not aspirations. They are the baseline standard we hold ourselves to with every single litter.
Our Philosophy on Life
One thing you should probably know about us? We want our Bengals to live a little.
And by that, we don't necessarily mean climbing mountains or kayaking down a river — although if you want to take your Bengal kayaking, hiking, camping, or even to the beach, we are absolutely here for it. We mean adventure in whatever way makes your cat happy.
Maybe that's riding around the house on your shoulder like a tiny, spotted supervisor. Maybe it's exploring the backyard in a harness, watching birds from a catio, or going on a family road trip. Heck, maybe your Bengal's greatest adventure is helping you fold laundry by unfolding every single piece. That counts too.
We genuinely love seeing people enjoy their Bengals. They're curious, intelligent, hilarious little creatures, and part of the fun of having one is discovering all the things you can experience together.
There is one thing we're serious about: their safety.
Our Bengals are not to be kept as free-roaming outdoor cats. Cars, predators, parasites, disease, and the possibility of never seeing your cat again — those are not risks we're willing to encourage anyone to take.
Hiking?
Yes, please.
Beach trip?
Please send pictures.
Kayaking?
We need photographic evidence.
Just make sure outdoor adventures are safely supervised, with a properly fitted, secure harness and leash. For water adventures, add a properly fitted feline life jacket too. And remember — not every Bengal will enjoy every outing. Let your cat's comfort and personality lead the way.
And can we talk about catios? We love a good catio. Giving a Bengal a secure outdoor space to climb, explore, lounge in the sunshine, and watch the world go by is fantastic. We're more than happy to share suggestions for setting one up — including flooring, litter arrangements, cleaning routines, and ways to help reduce parasite exposure.
We don't want our kittens going to homes where they're simply admired.
We want them loved, included, entertained, and thoroughly spoiled. Whether their adventures take them across the country or just from the kitchen counter to your shoulder — we want every Fall Line Bengal to have a life full of love, curiosity, and fun.
The Name
The Fall Line is a geological boundary that runs through the heart of Georgia — the ancient shoreline where the hard crystalline rock of the Piedmont meets the soft sedimentary soils of the Coastal Plain. Rivers drop in elevation here, creating falls and rapids. Cities like Augusta, Macon, and Columbus were built along it.
Perry sits right on that line. And we think it is the perfect metaphor for the Bengal — a breed that exists at the boundary between wild and domestic, between the untamed and the beloved. That tension is what makes them extraordinary.
It is also simply home. We are proud to breed here, in the red clay and longleaf pine of Middle Georgia, and to send our kittens out into the world from this place.
